1 Rupees 1991 Governor Montek Singh Ahluwaliya Rare Serial Packet with Fancy Number Packet 200001 - 200100

Description

This exceptional 1 Rupee note from 1991 features the signature of Governor Montek Singh Ahluwalia, marking a significant period in Indian monetary history. The standout feature is its rare fancy serial number packet, ranging from 200001 to 200100—a consecutive, highly sought-after sequence that commands premium value among collectors. The controlled packet of 100 notes in this specific number range makes it exceptionally scarce in the numismatic market. Perfect condition and original packaging preserve the note's integrity and authenticity. Collectors prize 1991 rupee notes for their historical significance during India's economic liberalization era, while the fancy number designation elevates this lot beyond standard circulation pieces. Whether you're a serious currency collector, investor, or historian, this authenticated packet represents both rarity and documented provenance—a valuable addition to any collection.
