100 Rupees Old Issue Goveror C.Rangarajan Rare GEM UNC Serial Packet

Description

This 100 Rupees banknote from India's Reserve Bank represents a significant piece of numismatic history, signed by Governor C. Rangarajan during his tenure. The note showcases exceptional condition graded as GEM UNC (Uncirculated), making it a pristine example highly sought by serious collectors. Rangarajan's governorship marked an important era in Indian monetary policy, and his signature notes have become increasingly scarce in the market. The rare serial packet designation indicates this note comes from a special or limited series, adding substantial collector value beyond standard circulation notes. Its outstanding preservation—evident in the GEM UNC grade—combined with the governor's signature makes this an attractive acquisition for those building Indian currency collections or investing in historically significant financial artifacts. The note arrives securely packaged and documented, ready for display or safekeeping.
