Note – We Do not ship out of India

Add a pristine piece of Indian numismatic history to your collection with this Republic of India 2 Rupees banknote, issued between 1985 and 1990. Featuring the coveted signature of R.N. Malhotra, the seventeenth Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, this note represents a fascinating era of economic transition and paper currency design. Graded in Brilliant Uncirculated (UNC) condition, it displays crisp paper quality, sharp corners, and vibrant original colors completely untouched by circulation, making it look as fresh as the day it was printed. Paper currency collectors heavily seek out Malhotra-signed notes due to their classic aesthetic appeal and the specific printing variations of that decade. Whether you are building a comprehensive type set of Republic India notes, focusing on RBI gubernatorial signatures, or searching for a tangible piece of late 20th-century nostalgia, this immaculate specimen is a must-have addition that elevates any serious collection.
