786 FANCY NUMBER 5 RUPEES GOVERNOR BIMAL JALAN RARE UNC (100 NOTE ) SERIAL PACKET

Description

This is a highly sought-after collectible Indian banknote featuring the rare "786" fancy number on a 5 Rupees note issued under Governor Bimal Jalan's tenure. The "786" designation holds special significance in Islamic tradition, making it particularly desirable among both currency collectors and those interested in numerologically significant banknotes.

The note is graded in UNC (Uncirculated) condition, indicating it has never been in regular circulation and maintains its original pristine appearance with sharp details and vibrant printing. This exceptional state of preservation significantly enhances its collectible value. The serial packet format suggests this is part of a sequential collection, adding to its appeal for serious numismatists.

Bimal Jalan served as RBI Governor from 1997-2003, a significant period in modern Indian monetary history. Notes from this era are increasingly difficult to find in such premium condition. The fancy number "786" is particularly coveted as it represents one of the most auspicious sequences in currency collecting circles, combining rarity with cultural and spiritual significance.

For collectors, this piece represents an excellent investment opportunity—rare Indian currency, especially in uncirculated condition with meaningful numbers, continues to appreciate in value. This note serves as both a historical artifact and a prized addition to any serious numismatic collection.
