Issued by the Reserve Bank of India, these notes showcase pristine condition with sharp printing, vibrant colors, and unmarred surfaces characteristic of gems. The consecutive numbering within this range adds considerable appeal, as does the rarity of obtaining a complete set in such exceptional grades. These notes represent an important chapter in Indian monetary history, particularly valued by collectors focused on twentieth-century currency. The GEM UNC designation indicates virtually no signs of handling—virtually flawless specimens.
