Description
Rare silver 2 Annas of 1904 issued for British India during the reign of King Edward VII. The obverse carries the bare-head bust of the King facing right with the legend "EDWARD VII KING AND EMPEROR", while the reverse shows the crown above "TWO ANNAS INDIA" flanked by floral sprays, with the Persian value below and the date 1904 at the base. No mark appears beneath the date, which points to the Calcutta mint.
