United States 1 Dollar 1980 "Susan B. Anthony Dollar" Rare Coin #J-38

Description

The 1980 Susan B. Anthony Dollar is a key-date collectible from one of America's shortest-lived circulating coin series. Minted from 1979-1981 and again in 1999, this dollar honors the pioneering civil rights activist Susan B. Anthony, whose legacy shaped women's suffrage in the United States. The 1980 issue remains a coveted piece for numismatists and history enthusiasts alike. With the designation #J-38, this coin represents a notable variety within the series. Susan B. Anthony Dollars are prized by collectors for their historical significance and relative scarcity in high grades. The series, though initially unpopular in circulation due to its size similarity to the quarter, has grown increasingly collectible over decades. This authentic specimen is an excellent addition to any U.S. coin collection, offering both numismatic value and a tangible connection to American history.
